Jubilee Celebration

Join us for an afternoon of fun and games to celebrate The Queen's record-breaking Platinum Jubilee. After two difficult years, it will be a great opportunity for everyone in the parish to get together again.

There's no charge to come along, and we're arranging some fun activities to take part in and watch.

There will be delicious homemade teas available all afternoon

Games and competitions

There will be a prize for the Best Picture of The Queen - it can be in any medium!

The Jubilee Dog Show is back by special arrangement: bring your pet for a chance to show who's top dog in the parish!

Smaller creatures will also be showing their form, with a change to choose your favourite in the Snail Racing.

There will be races for all the family in the Avonwick and North Huish Jubilympics as we test the speed and agility of young and not-so-young.

No village event would be complete without a Tombola and Raffle - your chances to win a bottle or two and some fantastic prizes.

We've also planning some fun sideshows, including a Skittles competition and Roll-a-Penny.

Live music will be provided by Gemma Stockford.

Fortune Telling

She can't tell whether it will be sunny, but cross her palm with silver and our resident Mystic will attempt to tell you what the future holds - possibly!
